A 20 piece puzzle featuring a watercolour of an elephant or rhinoceros from one of George Edwards beautifully illustrated books on natural history.

George Edwards (1694-1773) gave up an apprenticeship to a London Merchant in 1716 to study and draw the natural world around him. Sir Hans Sloane became an influential admirer of his work and Edwards was appointed RCP bedell, with responsibility for the library, from 1733 to 1760

The puzzles come in an attractive tin and measure 300mm x 210mm when assembled.
